"Upazila Livestock Office" is an important unit at the upazila level to implement the vision and missions of the Livestock Department under the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. The approved number of posts in the office is 11. There are 10 filled positions among them. Designation of Head of Office: Upazila Livestock Officer.

  Vision and Mission of Animal Husbandry Department:

Vision: Ensuring safe, adequate and quality animal feed for all and livestock development

Mission: To meet the demand of animal meat by providing animal health services, increasing production and productivity of animals and value addition.
